Carol Mon Chats About Memorable Messages At WWF

The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs will feature “Make Your Message Memorable,” by professional storyteller and speaker Carol Mon.

Ms Mon has a background in management, media, and storytelling, and she applies a unique perspective that will assist attendees in developing first-rate communication skills. Learn the secrets of creating compelling stories to improve marketing messages and increase sales.

People buy based on emotion, and justify the purchase with logic. Attendees will learn how to create a more powerful and persuasive story that will touch people emotionally.  

The program is planned for Wednesday, February 11, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook. Networking begins at 6 pm, followed by dinner and guest speaker. For reservations call 426-8693 or e-mail register at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net.

The program and dinner fee will be $25 for members, and $35 for nonmembers with a cash bar. The group will be accepting canned food, personal health, and beauty items for the Newtown Food Pantry.
