Priscilla Eve Case, 55, of Williamsburg, Va., died January 17, after a 13-year battle with breast cancer. She was born August 9, 1954, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., to Genevieve and Peter Geer, and grew up in Rye, N.Y. Ms Case was a resident of Newtown from 1997 to 2002.
She received her MBA from Columbia University Business School in New York. She had a distinguished career in corporate human resources and higher education administration. Most recently, she served as director of MBA admissions for the College of William & Mary, Mason School of Business, until she resigned on January 4.
Ms Case loved choral singing and was a member of the Williamsburg Choral Guild, the Handel Society of Dartmouth College, and the New York Choral Society of New York City. In addition, she sang with the Newtown Choral Society while living here, the New Haven Chorale, and the Mad River Chorale. She was also an accomplished pianist, avid gardener, and world traveler.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Case; parents, Genevieve and Peter Geer of Hilton Head, S.C.; three siblings; six nieces; and two cats, who loved her very much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 5, at 2 pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, Va. A reception will follow at the Mason School of Business.
