Kids Need To Be Kids
Kids Need To Be Kids
To the Editor:
I am at Literary Magazine Illustrator now, and I am writing this with all my heart because this is one of the things I donât want to disappear.
My life is stress! Always stressful. We are in middle school and discovering ourselves, top that with a heck of a lot of homework and youâve got one stressful life! This is my day of the week when I can relax and do what I love. Why are you taking away my joy? I may not know much about money, either, but taking away our after school activities will break all of our hearts!
We need fun, for awhile! To be free! Weâre kids! We need this! Kids need to be kids!
And why are you taking away home economics? Mrs Beck teaches more than cooking, sheâs math, language arts, science, reading, social studies, and team building all in one. All you need to do is meet her, go to her class and see how much contributed.
Fairfield has two middle schools and two high schoolsâ¦what has become of our town? Must we suffer this, when others have lower money than us?
Please, listen to our small voice. Hear our plea of help for all that is fun and free. We need this, for our future and Newtownâs.
We need this, and the teachers at Newtown Middle School need credit. They give us so much.
From a small voice,
Noelle, a seventh grade student out of many
