Jeffrey & Lindsay Nguyen

Former Newtown resident Lindsay Hope Kelkres and Jeffrey Vu Nguyen were joined in Holy Matrimony on August 21, 2010, in the Rose Garden of Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, Sudbury, Mass. The Reverend Barbara Williamson, rector, St Elizabeth Episcopal Church, also in Sudbury, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Eileen and Gene Kelkres of Newtown.

For her wedding day, Lindsay selected a strapless shell pink silk taffeta gown, with a short tulle veil, complemented by a lace long-sleeved bolero jacket. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink lilies and roses.

Lindsay is a 2002 graduate of Newtown High School, and a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. She is an administrator in the alterations shop of Nordstrom’s in Natick, Mass.

Jeffrey earned a bachelor’s degree at Northeastern University and a professional doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. He has passed the Massachusetts bar exam, and is a practicing attorney in Quincy, Mass.

He is the son of Vuong Nguyen and Phuc Bguyen of Boston.
