NEW HAVEN, CONN. — The Yale Center for British Art will present the exhibition “Pearls To Pyramids: British Visual Culture And The Levant, 1600–1830,” on view February 7–April 27.

Organized by the center to complement “The Lure of the East,” this exhibition explores the history of British cultural interchange with the Middle East through trade, tourism, archaeological exploration and military interest.
