Valentines For Vets

The deadline is Friday, February 4, for valentines that will be sent to the veterans hospitals through a collection sponsored by the Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC, Inc,

Residents, young and old, are invited to make or buy cards, sign them, and drop them off in the red box located in the children’s department on the bottom floor of the C.H. Booth Library. The valentines will be delivered to veterans in the veterans’ hospitals in Rocky Hill and West Haven. Donors are requested not to make or buy cards that have glitter on them.
