St Rose 2nd Grade Raises $1,500 In Tsunami Aid

St Rose School’s second grade students recently conducted a weeklong mission campaign “Give from Your Heart” in the wake of the tsunami destruction. The 27 second graders gave generously and encouraged the other 235 children of St Rose School to donate as much as they could to raise funds for the Sisters of Saint Joseph, who are working in India to help restore the lives of the many children and their families who are now in need of shelter and everyday living materials.

The second grade classes then presented Sister Ethel MacIlvain, CSJ, with a check for $1,500, which she in turn delivered to the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
