Giving Program Was A Success
Giving Program Was A Success
To the Editor:
This letter is written to express my heartfelt appreciation to the many individuals, organizations, and businesses whose generosity ensured that the Womenâs Centerâs Holiday Giving Program was once again a huge success. The abundance of new toys and presents, gift certificates, holiday decorations, and food that were donated created a joyous holiday season for the many women, men, and children receiving assistance through our domestic violence, sexual assault, and resource services programs.
Our very sincere thanks to the many area businesses, organizations, and individuals who conducted fundraising activities and âgift-raisingâ events, those who sponsored Giving/Angel trees, âadoptedâ individuals or families, as well as so many more who contributed in countless other ways. Special thanks also to our decorating elves Karen and Joel who volunteered their time and talent to create a festive environment for clients as well as staff here at our 2 West Street facility. Their efforts were appreciated and admired by all!
As always, it is this kind of benevolence that reinforces our belief that together, we can make a difference in peoples lives and sustains us in our continuing efforts of âworking to end the violence.â
Sincerely,
Patricia A. Zachman
