Endicott College (Beverly, Mass.) freshman volleyball player Jeremy Doski, of Sandy Hook and a 2015 Newtown High School graduate, has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week by the league office.

In his first collegiate start against Johnson & Wales University last Saturday, Doski notched a career-high and match-high 19 kills (.357 hitting percentage) to go along with three digs and one service ace. Doski finished the week with 22 kills (2.75 per set), a .320 hitting percentage, two service aces, and three digs.
