You are invited to a Valentine’s Party on Saturday, February 11, from 12 to 2 pm at NYS. Children ages 2 to 8 are welcome to join us for games, treats, and Valentine’s Day fun. Admission is $5 per child or $20 maximum per family. Proceeds benefit the High School Youth Advisory Board Scholarship Fund.

Newtown Youth Services presents “A Night of Tastes and Talents,” to be held at The Fireside Inn on Saturday, March 18, from 7 to 11 pm. Dinner, dancing, a talent show, and silent auction will be part of the festivities. Tickets are $45 per person and are available at NYS.

Parent Programs

Moms Groups

Moms and Infants Support Group meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

Gym Time meets on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am , in the Edmond Town Hall gym. runs for ten. This class is for walkers through preschool age children.

Moms of Multiples meets at the Newtown Methodist Church on the last Friday of the month from 10 to 11 am. There is no fee for this group.

The Hope And Support Group

This group meets on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. If you are a parent/guardian with questions or concerns about your child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances, you are welcome to attend this group.

Youth Programs

HSYAB — Will be meet on Monday, January 30, at 2 pm, in the high school cafeteria.

NYCAAP — Will meet on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm at the high school.

SMAD — This group meets on February 1 and February 15 in the middle school cafeteria.

Sibshops — Meets on the last Monday of the month from 5 to 7 pm.

Children of Divorce — Meets the first and third Monday of the month from 6 to 7 pm. Meetings will be held on February 13, and February 27.
