Trisha LeAnn Johnson

Devoted Animal Lover

Trisha LeAnn Johnson, 24, of Roxbury, died January 18. Ms Johnson was born May 17, 1981, in Silver Springs, Md., the daughter of Robert “Bill” Johnson of Brackenridge, Mo., and Linda Bradley Gillette of Roxbury.

Formerly of Newtown, she attended Newtown public schools, as well as WestConn. She was a devoted animal lover and enjoyed being around her two dogs, Zoe and Cooper. She enjoyed riding Harleys with her longtime friend and companion, Todd Adams, as well as spending time with her nephews and family. Her hobbies included gardening and music.

Besides her parents and longtime companion, she is survived by her sisters Tracy Sallisky of Oakville and Tiffany Bardelli of Southbury; her half sister Katie Johnson of Brackenridge; stepsister Taryn Gillette and a stepbrother Matthew Gillette, both of Bradenton, Fla.; as well as several aunts and uncles; six nephews; and many cousins and close friends, including Sarah Place and Bryan Terry.

A memorial service for Ms Johnson was held January 21 at the Southbury United Church of Christ. Memorial donations can be made to help other families in need at: The Family Intervention Center of Waterbury, 1875 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury CT 06704.

The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere was entrusted with the arrangements.
