Hawleyville Accident
About 7:46 pm January 24, motorist Marion Crisalli, 41, of 5 Pilgrim Lane, who was driving a 2000 Hyundai Elantra eastward on Mt Pleasant Road, made a left turn onto Hawleyville Road, police said.
But in making that left turn, Crisalli did not go around a traffic island at that intersection and incorrectly drove onto Hawleyville Roadâs southbound lane, instead of going onto its northbound lane, police said.
The Hyundai then collided with a 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck being driven southward on Hawleyville Road by Richard Camejo, 46, of 1 Patricia Lane, police said.
Crisalli reported a wrist injury, but declined medical attention, police said. Crisalli received an infraction ticket for making a restricted turn and also received a written warning for failure to carry a vehicle registration.

Tractor-trailer truck driver Li George, 40, of Rowland Heights, Calif., who was driving a 2000 Volvo truck southward on High Rock Road about 8:49 am January 24, encountered a northbound driver who had entered the southbound lane, so George swerved to avoid a collision, but in doing so went off the right road shoulder and became stuck, police said.
