Mercedes-Benz Offers College Scholarship

DANBURY — Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), with support from Mercedes-Benz of Danbury and Mercedes-Benz dealers nationwide, announced that it will make $1.5 million in scholarship funding available to students who are the first generation in their families to attend college.

The scholarship program entitled Drive Your Future will grant $10,000 scholarships to 100 high school seniors across the country who demonstrate financial need and exceptional achievement in the areas of academic performance, leadership, and school and community activities.

An additional $500,000 will establish performing arts scholarships for college-bound students who plan to pursue a degree in music, theater/drama, dance or film. MBUSA will grant $10,000 scholarships to 50 high school seniors across the country.
