Hearts & Hammers: Helping Residents In Coastal Fairfield County

WESTPORT — Newtown residents Dina Daum and Cynthia Iaropoli are helping plan the 7th Annual Hearts & Hammers Gala, to be held Saturday, February 11, at 7 pm, at The Inn at Longshore.

The elegant evening and auction will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (formerly of Greater Bridgeport). This year His Excellency William Lori, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, will be honored in recognition of the diocese’s support of the local Habitat building program. Cindi Bigelow, president of R.C. Bigelow, Inc in Fairfield, is the honorary chair of the event.

Stormin’ Norman and Anne Rondepierre, WEBE 108 personalities, will be masters of ceremony for the evening, which will feature both silent and live auctions. There will also be live music for guests to listen and dance to.

Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County is an independently operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Dedicated to making affordable home ownership a matter of conscience, the organization challenges individuals, churches, synagogues, businesses, and other organizations to lend a hand to those in need of better housing. Named Urban Affiliate of the Year for the Northeast Region in 2005, Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County is the leading supplier of affordable homes for purchase in Bridgeport.

Tickets are $250 per person and must be purchased in advance. For more information and reservations, call Lee Ann Kline at 203-254-9889.
