Ambassadors Club

Offers Speakers

The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) is launching the Ambassador’s Club, a new resource that brings public health experts into Connecticut’s communities to discuss important health issues. The DPH Ambassador’s Club makes these well-informed speakers available to civic groups, forums, schools, libraries, employers, and other state agencies.

“The health issues that matter in the lives of Connecticut’s residents are the life’s work of the more than 800 employees at DPH,” said DPH Commissioner J. Robert Galvin, MD, MPH. “Being informed about these issues and the available resources to help us lead healthy and safe lifestyles can have a positive impact on our health.”

For more information or to book a DPH Ambassador for your organization or event email your request at least three weeks in advance to DPHAmbassadors@po.state.ct.us or call 860-509-7270.
