Cara Williams to Gregory A. Blomstrand

Mr and Mrs Gordon Michael Williams of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Cara Elizabeth Williams, to Gregory Alan Blomstrand, son of Mr and Mrs Curt Blomstrand of Lafayette, Calif.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1987 and Dickinson College, Carlisle, Penn., with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is employed as a general manager of Meridian Sports Club of Century City, Los Angeles, Calif.

The future groom graduated from Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif. in 1986 and UCLA. He is an asset manager concentrating on real estate investments for pension funds and corporate clients for American Realty Advisors in Glendale, Calif.

A May 2000 wedding is being planned. It will be held at the Newtown Congregational Church.
