The Capener family of Sandy Hook took advantage of Saturday’s snow to do what they do very well: the family built a large snow sculpture in their yard. Joined by some friends, a large snow bust of Bart Simpson now has a place of prominence in the family’s yard. Sculptors on Sunday included Ethan Capener, Miles Capener, Lily Capener, Eric Gray, Richard Guman, Julian Crane, and Vinny Wilson. Simon Capener oversaw the work.

The family has been doing this for years, creating oversize creations of a teddy bear, a Minion (from Despicable Me), Darth Vader and Homer Simpson.
