The Power Of Perseverance

LITCHFIELD — Julia Cameron, a noted artist, author and playwright, will present a workshop entitled “The Power of Perseverance” at Wisdom House from 7 pm Friday, February 9, until 3:30 pm Saturday, February 10.

The workshop will help artists in all media weather those periods when inspiration seems to run dry. Practical suggestions will be given on how to meet the challenges when beginning a new project, persevering with a new approach or staying focused when other areas of life are a distraction.

Ms Cameron is the author of 23 books, both fiction and non-fiction, including her bestselling works on the creative process: The Artist’s Way, Walking in This World, The Vein of Gold, The Right to Write and The Sound of Paper, and her most recent book, Finding Water. In addition to writing, she has multiple credits in theater, film and television. She will do a reading from her new memoir, Floor Sample, to open the program on Friday evening. A reception will follow.

The fee for the workshop is $180 for a shared room, $210 for a private room, and $245 for a private room with bath. The commuter fee is $160. Attendance Friday evening only is $25.
