Luca Imbimbo and Clay Gattey scored two goals apiece to lead the Newtown White Lightning boys’ 10-and-under indoor travel soccer team to a 5-2 win over the New Milford Cosmos last weekend.

Sawyer Conrad also scored as Knute Johnson, Dillon Wikramanayake, Imbimbo, Kevin Droniak and Graham Hubbert all had assists. Ryan King controlled the defense shutting down any offensive threat and Nathyn Horvath was great in goal while Constant Gregoire controlled the midfield.

The lightning dominated the entire game with Imbimbo leading a very strong offensive effort. Luca scored on one shot from almost midfield on a bomb that went right over the goalie’s head.
