Being Planned

Linda Manganaro will lead a Bible study on Friday, February 2, that can be enjoyed on its own or as a preparatory step for Church Women United’s World Day of Prayer.

The Bible study will be at Trinity Episcopal Church from 11 am until 2:30 pm. There will be a break for lunch, and participants should bring their own lunch.

World Day of Prayer will be celebrated around the world on Friday, March 2. The Newtown chapter of Church Women United will offers its program that day at Trinity Episcopal Church. This year’s theme will be “United Under God’s Tent.” The annual WDP service is written each year by women of a different country, and this year it was the women of Paraguay who handled that task. Details on this year’s local service will be offered in upcoming issues of The Newtown Bee.
