The Knights Say Thanks

To The Editor:

On behalf of the Knights of Columbus, Virgilius Council #185 and The St Rose Youth Group, I would like to thank the 40+ volunteers who assisted us in our two projects that were completed during the past several weeks.

Of course a plow horse is of no use without a plow and likewise we would be of little help without our sponsors. This benevolent group includes: Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth at Marian Heights (donation of a car), Berkshire Motors, Amaral Motors, Village Tire, Newtown Hardware, DWD, Goulart Construction, Nitopi Engineering Ltd., Meehan Ceramic Tile & Brickface, Hatch & Bailey Co., Apex Glass, St Rose Church, Girl Scout Troop #819, Bagelman, Randy-Whitney, and Herb Rosenthal for the All-Day Dump Permit.

Finally, our thanks to God who softens the hearts of our sponsors and encourages those volunteers to get out of bed on a two-degree Saturday morning to help these families that were… at our Gate.
