Free Tax Advice Brochure

HARTFORD — The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) is offering a free brochure entitled Shaping Up for Tax Season: Tax-Saving Tips for 1999. The brochure provides taxpayers with information and advice on preparing their 1999 income tax returns.

Shaping Up for Tax Season: Tax-Saving Tips for 1999 offers a dozen potential ways to save on 1999’s tax bill. The brochure explains changes instituted by the new laws which went into effect this year, and includes information on deductions, adjustments, and credits. Of course, there’s plenty of information about tax basics as well.

Individuals can obtain a copy of the brochure by sending a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to Shaping Up for Tax Season c/o CSCPA, 845 Brook Street, Building 2, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3405. Supplies are limited.
