To the Editor,

On behalf of the Newtown Women’s Club, Inc, GFWC, we want to thank you for your support of our annual ornament sales. Our ornament sales are the signature fundraiser for our organization.

Thank you to all who purchased and helped sell the 2023 Newtown Police Department piece. We will once again (36 years) be donating 100 percent of the proceeds to local nonprofit organizations.

Special thanks to Ben Cruson for writing the history of the Newtown Police Department. Thank you to The Newtown Bee, Cyrenius Booth Library, The Toy Tree and the Town Clerk’s office for helping sell the ornaments. Thank you to the Community Center and Rotary for allowing us to sell at their annual Sip and Shop and Pancake Breakfast.

Watch for us in 2024 at the Labor Day Parade in front of the library!
