The staff of Cyrenius H. Booth Library is planning for the future of the town's library.chboothlibrary.org. Registration can also be done, and additional information is available, by calling the library at 203-426-4533.

Thoughts from residents are "the most important ingredient in creating the best public library for our community," according to a January 23 statement issued by library staff. "Whether you're new to town, haven't stepped inside a library in years, or are a C.H. Booth regular, we want to hear what you have to say," the statement continued.

A series of focus groups have been planned, all to take place in the lower level conference room of Town Hall South, just south of the library at 3 Main Street.

No preparation is necessary, and each session is limited to 12 participants. Each will run 90 minutes.

The first sessions were held January 27 and January 28. Additional sessions are also scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, at 9 am and noon; and Wednesday, February 3, at 7 pm.

Light refreshments will be served.
