Military Band Clarinet Quartet Concert, Feb. 10

BROOKFIELD — The Clarinet Quartet of the US Military Academy Band is scheduled to perform on Sunday, February 10, at 3 pm, at The Brookfield Library, 182 Whisconier Road.

Formed in 1992, it is one of a handful of clarinet quartets that is dedicated to exploring and performing the literature written and transcribed for this unusual ensemble. All of the performers in the quartet are members of the Military Academy Concert Band’s clarinet section. The program will include a variety of musical styles.  

This event is part of the library’s winter-spring “Afternoons at the Arbor” concert series. Admission is free. A reception will follow the concert.
