Time once again for our annual thank you letter to so many! The Newtown Service Unit of the Salvation Army had a truly fantastic year in our bell-ringing efforts. Can you believe it? Honest — we realized $10,054.17! What a banner year.

The Newtown Congregational Church Men’s Club for covering a whole Saturday afternoon.

The Newtown Lions Club for covering two Saturdays and a donation of $1,000.

The Taunton Press for their annual donation of $1,000.

And the Bethel Service Unit for participating this year.

Special thanks also to new members of our unit, Debbie Stakel, Betsy Gaier and Alan Martin, who made our work so much easier this year by their contribution of time and talent. Our chairman, Barbara Bigham, put so much effort into both the Newtown and Bethel Bell-Ringing efforts this year.
