NCC Name Change

Dr George C. Anderheggen recently announced that the Newtown Counseling Center, after twenty-seven years, has changed its name to the Aspetuck Counseling Center, effective January 1, 2000.

Dr Anderheggen said that the name change will be more encompassing to the area being served and will eliminate some confusion with other counseling centers in the area.

The Newtown Counseling Center has been offering individual, couples, and family therapy since 1972 and will continue to do so under the new name. The center specializes in therapy for abuse, divorce, phobias, stress and trauma.
