Pets: We have a cat, Stevie. My wife is a big fan of Stevie Nicks.
Are you part of any local organizations? Not yet, but we’ve been told we should look into Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity.
What do you like to do in your free time? I’m a big movie buff. I love watching movies. I’ve become close with Affinity Esports on both a professional and personal level. So I spend time playing video games with the community from Affinity Esports.
Outside of those two things I really like to spend time with Joelle and Nora, either individually or all together. Nora’s at a point where she’s really a big observer, and it’s really interesting to watch her watch everything around her.
What was the most recent movie you saw in the theater? Oppenheimer. We went to Rhode Island and saw it there in IMAX.
What is something you cannot live without? My family. We are such a unit, we do everything together. Joelle works from home too, and we just love each other’s company.
Who is your favorite musical artist? I have a few, mostly based on nostalgia. Topping the list is Incubus, Oasis, John Mayer. Also music of the 60s and 70s — Jim Croce, James Taylor, The Beatles. I also like The Decemberists and The Shins as well.
What is your favorite travel destination? I’ve been to Italy twice and have explored Rome, Naples, Amalfi Coast and Florence. I would love to go back to Italy and explore more of the northern parts of the country. Joelle and I also want to visit Ireland and Scotland as well as go back to England and explore more of the countryside. Although I am an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan, so I’d love to make it to North London to watch a match.
What is the best part about Newtown? I feel like it’s true: the community aspect of it is great. Our neighbors are some of our closest friends. A few of our neighbors have young children around the same age as Nora, so we’ve become close with those families. Newtown seems like a tight-knit community, no matter where you go. Even our realtor lives in town.
Do you have a personal credo or mantra? It’s not a direct quote, but I try to keep everything in balance. Balance in your life between work and family, balance between hobbies and responsibilities, balance between diet and health. That’s what I try to live by.
