Caroline M. (Bike) Collins, 81, of Trumbull died January 22 at St Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Bridgeport to the late Veronica (Szymanski) and Joseph Bike.

Survivors include six children and their spouses, Stephen and Laureen Collins of Newtown, Alan and Mary Ann Collins of Monroe, William and Lisa Collins of Seymour, Raymond Collins, Jr, of Boynton Beach, Fla., Cindy and Jerry Rodriguez of Monroe, and Susan Collins and Luis Lopez of Trumbull; two sisters and their husbands, Mary and Bob Shakoski and Margaret and Ed Deveny of Shelton; two brothers, Joseph Bike and John Bike and his wife, Maureen; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Martha Bike and Marilyn Barker and brother-in-law Lidio Raffaeli; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Michael Collins;  brothers George Bike and Lowell Barker; sisters Veronica Kutzscher, Jeanne Heid, and Catherine Raffaeli; and her stepmother, Inez Blake, predeceased Mrs Collins.

Mrs Collins was retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years. She enjoyed tennis and bowling. The greatest joy in her life was time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday, January 26, from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. All other services will be private.
