VERO BEACH, FLA. — One of Florida’s largest and most exciting antiques events — the 13th annual Vero Beach Antiques Extravaganza — will run January 30 to February 1 at the new Indian River County Fairgrounds. More than 400 dealers from across the United States and Canada will be displaying a wide variety of items from all over the world.

Only antiques and old collectibles are allowed. Estate jewelry; silver; china; glass; pottery; art; all types of furniture, including formal, country, European and Chinese; postcards; military linens; quilts; primitives and much more will be offered. Specialty items include Highwayman paintings, golf collectibles, sunken treasures from shipwrecks and nautical items.

Early buying for serious shoppers will be Friday, January 30, at 1 pm; admission is $19. The show continues Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, for $6 general admission. Closeby parking is free.

The fairgrounds are on 7955 58th Avenue. The show is easy to walk and is wheelchair friendly. One half of the show is held inside the Expo Center, the remaining is outdoors under covered pavilions.
