‘Unity & Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity and Diversity, a cable television program that provides an education in learning about one’s neighbors, especially through a clearer understanding of their religious heritage, spiritual values, and everyday life, airs each Monday at noon and Wednesday at 5:30 pm on Charter Communications channel 21.

The program on January 26 and 28 will look at the Bahai Community of the greater Newtown area. Upcoming weeks will feature the following guests and/or topics: February 2 and 4, the Reverend Tim Crowley, pastor, Central Christian Church, Danbury; February 9 and 11, the Reverend Thomas Quinn, director, the Counseling Center of Greater Danbury; February 16 and 18, Rabbi Jon Haddon, Rabbi Emeritus, Congregation Sheareth Israel, in Ridgefield; and February 23 and 25, the Reverend Linda Hansen, pastor, Unitarian Community of Greater Danbury.

The program producer and host is the Reverend Leo McIlrath, coordinator of Corpus Christi: An Ecumenical Catholic Faith Community and a resident of Sandy Hook.
