Open House January 25

All are invited to come and see the newly expanded St Rose of Lima School at the annual open house, which will be held Sunday, January 25, from 1 to 3 pm.

St Rose, a prekindergarten through eighth grade Roman Catholic School, is lat 40 Church Hill Road.

Sunday’s event will be the first open house since the completion of the school’s expanded facility and will include guided tours of the entire school, including the preschool building, new science and technology labs, gymnasium/auditorium, media library and classrooms, an overview of St Rose’s nationally recognized curriculum, an opportunity to meet the dedicated faculty, students, parents, and administration, including the Home and School Association, and a brochure and registration packet for visitors to take home and review.

In addition to an award-winning curriculum, St Rose offers a faith- and service-based environment with a focus on educating the whole child. All students are encouraged to reach their fullest potential and to excel in their intellectual and spiritual growth.

St Rose is the only elementary school in Newtown to be nominated for the 2009 National Blue Ribbon Award and is nationally ranked in the top ten percent of all schools academically.

St Rose School will hold New Family Registration on Saturday, January 31, from 10 am until 1 pm.
