It's quiet in the concert arena this week, although some of you may be getting ready for tonight's TOBY KEITH concert at Mohegan Sun Arena. Have fun if you're headed to Uncasville… tell TK I said Hello if you bump into him.

The only news I have to share this week is the onsale announcement for tickets for a concert by THE DEAD (bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, Jeff Chimenti and Warren Haynes), who will be at the XL Center in Hartford on Sunday, April 26.
Tickets are $68 and $98, and available through LiveNation.com and TicketMaster venues. Tickets werenât going to be available through the XL Centerâs box office this morning, but if they donât sell out theyâll be available there beginning tomorrow.
Thatâs it, folks. Until next week Iâll be seeing you... on the road.
Questions and comments should be sent to Shannon Hicks c/o The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road, Newtown CT 06470, or shannon@thebee.com, or call the office at 426-3141. Shows listed at clubs are for ages 21 and over unless specified.
