Vehicular Charge
Police report they responded to the scene of a disabled motor vehicle, which was stopped on South Main Street near its intersection with Elizabeth Street about 10:23 pm January 17.
After investigating, police charged the vehicleâs driver, Alfredo Loranca, 24, of Danbury, with driving with a suspended license.
After processing, police released Loranca on $200 bail for a February 3 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Louis Silvestros, 56, of North Branford went to the police station on the afternoon of January 20 and was charged with three vehicular offenses.
Police charged Silvestros with failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, failure to renew a driverâs license, and failure to have automotive insurance. The three charges stem from a motor vehicle accident that occurred last September 21 near 112 Berkshire Road (Route 34).
In that accident, Silvestros was riding a motorcycle, which was carrying a passenger, that collided with a utility pole. The accident involved two noncontact vehicles. Both Silvestros and the motorcycle passenger were transported to the hospital for medical treatment following the crash.
On January 20, police released Silvestros on a written promise to appear February 3 in Danbury Superior Court.

Fodor was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
