Catch Skating Moves On Tape

Donate To Skate’s next fundraiser — on Friday, February 6 — welcomes video footage of skateboarders midair or slapping their boards across pavement prepping for a grab, grind, or slide. Campaign head Lori Capozziello is looking for videos done in “good taste,” as requested  online at

All videos will be assembled and played at the culmination of the contest on February 6, and will hit the big screen at Vertigo Skate Park, an indoor skating facility at 105 Grays Bridge Road in Brookfield.

The event will run from 5:45 to 10 pm, when votes will be cast and tallied. Enjoy prizes, food, skate time. Entry and voting fees will raise funds for a skate park in Newtown.
