Beacon Hill Church To Host North American Director Of Jews For Jesus
MONROE â Jhan Moskowitz, the North American director of Jews for Jesus, will speak at Beacon Hill Church, 371 Old Zoar Road, Sunday, February 8, at 8:30 and 11 am. Pastor Richard Flashman invites all to attend.
Jews for Jesus uses creative methods and contemporary issues to present the message that Jesus is the Messiah to Jewish people around the world.
Mr Moskowitz was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. His parents were refugees from Nazi Germany and spent four and a half years in a concentration camp.
âI learned at an early age what it means to be a Jew and to be loyal to my heritage and my people,â says Mr Moskowitz, who was disenchanted with religion in his teens. âWhen I went to Israel I was an atheist,â he said, âbut by the time I left, I knew that God did exist. I became a seeker. I felt God had created the universe with a purpose, and I wanted to know his purpose for my life. I found my answer in 1971 when I came to terms with God through his Messiah, Jesus.â
Jhan Moskowitz will be happy to answer questions after the presentation.
There is no charge to attend. Call 268-8521 for more information.
