Domestic Violence Initiative
HARTFORD â The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV), has appointed Erika M. Tindill, Esq as its new executive director, effective February 9.
âI am delighted and honored to be able to use both my legal and leadership skills in a different way to promote the interests of those affected by domestic violence. I look forward to doing great work for the coalition and its member programs,â said Attorney Tindill upon accepting the position.
She will be leaving her current position as deputy director for New Haven Legal Assistance Association, Inc. In 1998, before coming to Connecticut, she served as an Assistant State Attorney specializing in domestic violence prosecution in Dade County, Fla.
She also served as co-president of the board of Domestic Violence Services of Greater New Haven and is on the board of the Rape Crisis Center of Milford.
CCADV is a membership organization whose purpose is to work together to end domestic violence by advocating for victims and changing the social conditions, beliefs, and social actions that perpetuate abuse against victims of domestic violence.
