Chris Snow was named to the Dean’s List for the fall trimester at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. Chris was also one of 96 students from the College of Culinary Arts nominated to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Stephen P. Graham of Sandy Hook was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester at Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y. Dean’s List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours to be named. Stephen is a senior chemistry and chemical engineering major at the university.

Newtown and Sandy Hook students were named to the fall 2009 semester’s Dean’s List at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. Newtown students named to the list are Erin Baier, Kristen DeCesare, Kyla Miles, and Carol Russell. Sandy Hook students named to the list are Linda Magliocco and Erin Nemeth.

Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Penn., released the Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester. Newtown and Sandy Hook students were named to the list. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive Dean’s List recognition. Students named to the list are Abigail L. Atkinson, daughter of Glenn and Mary Atkinson, and Michelle L. Haitz of Sandy Hook, daughter of Thomas and Christine Haitz.

Caitlin Norcross was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Penn. Students at the college must earn a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0-scale to attain Dean’s List status.

 Allen H. Hubbard, son of Allen and Nancie Hubbard, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt. He is a junior biology major at the liberal arts, residential Catholic college. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean’s List.
