Toddler Communication/Play Group Forming

NEW MILFORD — Parents and their children age 18 months to 4 years old are invited to participate in the Toddler Communication/Play Group being provided by the Speech-Language Pathology Department at New Milford Hospital.

The next six-session class begins on Monday, February 7 and runs each Monday through March 14. The first session is held from 10 to 10:45 am. for children from 18 to 39 months old, and the second session is from 10:45 to 11:30 am for children 2½–4 years old. The cost for the six-week class is $30 per child.

During these classes, parents will learn language development strategies and how to incorporate them into a play environment with games, crafts, songs, and books. Classes include education, group play, time for socialization, and questions.

The instructor for these classes is speech pathologist Aimee Seiderer, MS, CCC-SLP. Registration is required by calling 860-350-7292, option 4. Class size is limited to eight children and payment is required prior to the first class.
