Baro’s Reassignment

To the Editor:

Newtown Residents… Even though I have moved from the area, I have still made a point of keeping in touch with the news. Most recently the goings on of the Newtown Police Department with Baro.

Just two things. Andy, right or wrong, Baro was not in your thought, so placing him with another officer is not wrong. Trained dogs are just that... trained.

 Second, Baro appears to have been placed with someone that knows the need of a trained “partner,” whether it be human or a beloved dog such as Baro.
