Welcome Warmth And Sunshine As Audubon Presents Birding In Mexico

The Lillinonah Audubon Society (LAS) will sponsor a program entitled “South of the Border: Birding San Blas, Mexico” on Thursday evening, January 27, at 7:30, at the Booth Library.

The public is invited to join LAS members at no charge, enjoy refreshments, and stay for the program, which will be presented in the library’s first floor public meeting room.

Program presenter is Jim Zipp, owner of the Hamden birding store The Fat Robin.

Mr Zipp is a renowned bird photographer and his talk and slide show will explore Mexico’s Pacific Coast. San Blas is a village with lowland ponds and lagoons and there are highland coffee plantations only a short distance away. The bird life of the San Blas region is world-renowned.
