A Wonderful Concert

To the Editor:

On behalf of the C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees I would like to extend my sincere thanks to The Concert Society of Putnam and Northern Westchester for the wonderful concert that was presented on January 7.

The soloists, Maria Ferrante, Eric Lewis, and John Hanulik, were outstanding and the musical selections certainly showcased their talents.

A special thank you to Trinity Episcopal Church for hosting this event in their beautiful sanctuary.

I would like to especially acknowledge the generosity of time and talent of Richard Serbagi, the Concert Society’s conductor and Newtown’s own “Maestro.”

The proceeds of the concert will help enrich the Young Adult Book collection of the C.H. Booth Library. Under the enthusiastic supervision of our YA Librarian Margaret Brown, this department has grown by leaps and bounds. The expansion of this book collection is much needed and gratefully received.
