Elizabeth Kenyon To Peter Janis

Betsy S. Kenyon of Newtown and Wayne A. Kenyon of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Demarest Kenyon, to Peter Bartley Janis, son of Mrs Ethel Swartz of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and the late Donald Janis.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1986 and Fairfield University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a critical care nurse at St Francis Hospital in Rosalyn, N.Y.

The future groom graduated from Greenwich High School in 1989 and Johnson State College with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He is employed as a real estate agent by the William Pitt agency in Greenwich.

A June 2000 wedding is planned.
