The 45th anniversary to the day of the first worship service held by the members of Christ the King Lutheran Church will be observed at the parishâs Sunday service at 10:30 am on January 22, which will also be the third Sunday after Epiphany. Hymns sung during the first service in 1961 will be incorporated into the anniversary service this weekend. The choir will sing âCome, Bless the Lordâ as the anthem, and the Sunday School Singers will also present an anthem. A celebratory coffee hour will follow the worship service. Sunday School and Bible class begin at 9 am. The calendar for the week includes choir rehearsal Wednesday at 7:30 pm, Confirmation meets on Thursday at 7 pm followed by Bible study at 8 pm, and on Friday the Bible Group meets at 12:30.
