Mark F. Rebong
Mark F. Rebong, 28, son of Dr Efren E. and Anita (Tongohan) Rebong of Newtown died January 18 in Danbury Hospital.
Mr Rebong was born in the Philippines March 29, 1971. He came to the United States in 1973. He was a graduate of St Rose School, Newtown and the Wooster School, Danbury, Class of 1989. He graduated from Skidmore College in May of 1993 with a bachelorâs degree and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic College in August of 1993 with a masterâs in business administration and entrepreneuring.
Mr Rebong was employed as night auditor manager of the Danbury Hilton.
He is survived, besides his parents, by a brother, M. Renan Rebong of Newtown, and his maternal grandmother, Serafla Tongohan of Union City, Calif. He is also survived by the Rebong family of New York; the Rebong family of Victoria, Laguna, Philippines; the Tongohan family of Union City, Calif; and the Rebong and Tongohan families of Tanay, Rizal, Philippines.
AÂ Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Rose of Lima Church Saturday, January 22 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.
