Aspetuck Valley Rugby Club caters to boys ranging from age 8 through those in high school, from Newtown and area towns. The club fields teams for U10, 12, 14, 16, and 18, and half of the games are played on its home field in Redding.

Indoor preseason training is underway at the Redding Community Center gym on Lonetown Road (Route 107), behind Redding Elementary School. USA certified rugby coaches teach technique and safety. Register at aspetuckvalleyrugby.org.
