The Alumni Hockey Game

To the Editor,

This letter is to express my appreciation to Carolyn Oggeri and the Newtown High School Ice Hockey Team parents who put together the first alumni ice hockey game.

Thank you to the volunteer parent coaches and to Jeff Tolson, the  announcer for his amusing anecdotes and updates on the alumni players.

I especially want to thank the 2007 Newtown Nighthawks Ice Hockey Team players for spending their Saturday night on the ice outplaying the alumni.

I wish the team continued success for a great hockey season.
