Beloved Wife, Mother, And Grandmother

Margaret M. Kowalski, 65, of Monroe, beloved wife of Anthony Kowalski, died January 11 at St Mary’s Hospital of Waterbury. Mrs Kowalski was born on July 18, 1941, in New York City, and was the daughter of Catherine J. (Gallagher) Cunningham of Marco Island, Fla., and the late Michael J. Cunningham.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two beloved sons, Stephen J. Kowalski and his wife, Rebecca, of Sandy Hook and Robert A. Kowalski and his wife, Tami, of Wolcott; one devoted brother, Michael T. Cunningham and his wife, Mary Lou, of Marco Island, Fla.; three cherished grandchildren, Brittany, Erin, and Chase Kowalski; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs Kowalski was a part-time charity worker at St Vincent DePaul. She thoroughly enjoyed and loved shopping with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Fayer-Weather Yacht Club of Fairfield.

Funeral services took place January 17 from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, Monroe, and in St Jude’s Church of Monroe with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in St John’s Cemetery of Monroe.
