Winterthur Hosts, ‘Furniture Meets Its Maker’

WINTERTHUR, DEL. — “Furniture Meets its Maker,” will go on view at the Winterthur Museum and Country Estate May 12 and will be on view until August 12. One of the most innovative young artists working in North America, Toronto-based woodworker Gord Peteran has pursued a boundary-crossing career in furniture making, opening up this craft to an unprecedented range of psychological and conceptual art.

This exhibition will feature approximately 20 works of sculpture plus five works on paper.

The Winterthur is on Route 52, six miles northwest of Wilmington and five miles south of US Route 1.
