To the Editor:

On Friday, January 20, our nation inaugurates our 45th president of the United States of America. We owe our gratitude to those who voted for Donald J. Trump to lead our country.

Thanks to their outstanding courage in supporting Republican goals, we can now move forward to dismantle Obamacare, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Once more, we Americans will stand proudly on our own without relying on outdated socialist government entitlements.

This great new administration, possessed with more Goldman Sachs executives and wealthy citizens than any other in modern history, will work tirelessly to absorb the expenditure of $9 trillion authorized by Congress in last week's budget resolution. And the $7 million benefiting each of the 400 richest families from the elimination of the unAffordable Care Act will trickle down to future taxpayers responsible for repaying the national debt.

All patriots eagerly will pay the $25 billion for the beautiful new Trump Tower on our southern border with Mexico. This wall will be a giant step in preventing one of our largest trading partners from sending illegals here. After all, the 50,000 Irish and millions of other undocumented who overstayed their visas arrived from our southern neighbors.

Embargoing goods and services from overseas with up to 45 percent tariffs will create millions of people standing in this country for a better tomorrow. The 1930s showed how well this policy worked before. Purchasing products costing much more than today undoubtedly will make America great again.

By supporting our esteemed new president and by partaking in this beautiful transition of power, we ensure our brave new world will be glorious. Indeed, for all who observe, the fireworks will be spectacular.
